This is part of my series with the geisha's. It loose canvas, representing loose skin from one of the geisha's and their body art.

So finally, here's the finished version. Although there may be some things i would like to touch up in the head piece. This is how it was submitted to Scholastics. Now i'm just crossing my fingers that they don't damage it, and hopefully win some sort of prize? :)

Collage mostly done, now time for the crazy details... Staying up all night to finish this piece.

I've been working on bringing this piece up to the level where it needs to be, and hopefully my next post will be the Finished piece.

I am planning on making prints of this piece making it more available to public. Other than that this is a gift to someone very special to me, meaning that i do not plan on selling the original. I will also be entering this piece into the Scholastics "Competition" in hopes of winning or gaining some type of recognition.
This Painting is also part of my AP Portfolio series. This feminine side of Buddha is suppose to represent a sense of Power & Respect within the Geisha's i have, and will be painting.

Medium = Wood
Media = Oils
I'll just be posting the process of creating this piece. I'm doing this mostly for myself to see the progress  from each session of which i work. This is the 2nd Geisha painting- working with Oils and experimenting some collage on canvas. ( sorry for the poor lighting)

This little chubby owl popped in my head after watching an hour long documentary on owls....haha.
